We have a choice of pitch types available for tents.

  • Open grass pitching area.
  • Electric hook-up grass pitches.

Most of the electric grass pitches are a minimum of 10m wide but vary in the depth and width of available pitch size to comply with fire regulations (please refer to pitching guide).

FAQ's

How should I pitch my tent on the pitch.

To comply with fire regulations on all electric grass pitches, you need to pitch your tent along the left-hand side of the pitch, allowing 1m around your tent for the guy ropes. (click here to view the pitching guide).

If I am booking an electric hook-up for a tent, which cable do I need?

You require a cable with a 3 pin round Euro plug to fit into the hook-up point. (See pictures). The cable needs to have a RCD/MCB (trip switch) plug socket unit on the other end to allow you to plug in what you need to use.

Can I bring my kitchen appliances from home?

All our hook-ups are 16 Amp. You can bring kitchen appliances from home, but because hook-ups are designed to work with low wattage camping appliances, the hook-up may not be able to handle everything at once.
